VR images in the classroom: Rivers
These images of the Horner Water, Exmoor illustrate the river on its journey from source to mouth. The first image shows a typical upper course valley with interlocking spurs. The second picture shows a deeply incised river valley with a small waterfall and evidence of soil creep on the valley sides. At Bossington the river has reached order 4 and is very close to the sea. The final image illustrates the lagoon formed as a result of a shingle bar cutting off the river channel just before it enters the sea.
