Disabled access study

This is an idea for enquiry that combines fieldwork, ICT and citizenship. The activity is based on the work of Rob Kitchin, whose book "Disability,space and society" is published by the GA.
The investigation was first carried out on the South Bank, London with Year 10 students who used the enquiry to prepare for their own GCSE investigations. The results of their work can be seen here. The methods have recently been updated to take advantage of the newly launched Maps Direct service.
This study is suitable for any age group, and is a highly enjoyable, worthwhile and inclusive activity.
